Level gauges are widely used in the monitoring and regulation of manufacturing processes, and also in metering and calculation operations and on-line monitoring of the volume of liquids in all branches of the national economy.
The calibration level gauge has undergone state acceptance testing, has been introduced into Gosreestr, and has the following technical characteristics: measurement range, 0-12 m; fundamental error, not more than • mm; overall size, 320 • 395 • 355 mm; and weight, not more than 12 kg.
The level gauge is portable and small, and has outputs to a personal computer and an ADC (analog-to-digital converter). It is designed to check working level gauges where they are used without dismantling and for calibration of reservoirs by the volumetric method, and also is an element in the ACS of manufacturing processes.
